Grass in plates
Did you already think of the grass in plates? It is a product which develops and which very easy with set up. It is appeared as rollers which it is enough to unroll. But how to proceed?
Amend and turn over your ground
Start by turning over the ground to the , or preferably to the cultivator. Not to hesitate to pass by again several times at the same place to loosen to the maximum the ground.
One adds then the amendment in the form of mould or of compost. Spread out a surface layer from approximately 3 to 4 cm. In order to obtain a rich mixture, the ground again is turned over. This operation will enrich the ground, but also to reduce it.
Level your ground
Using a rake, remove all stones and break the mounds. Then rake to level the ground. The completion can possibly be done with a rule to have a rigorously flat ground.
Work the ground with the rake until your pitches are not inserted any more. To finish the preparation, you can add a layer of mould (filtered ground + compost) of 10 cm. of special manure grass of long life.
Lastly, pose your grass in plates
The installation must be done immediately after reception of the rollers of grass in plate. Unroll the grass free in and out by putting the plates without making them overlap.
Flatten well with the hands. It should not remain of air pocket between the plates and the ground. The cutting of the edges of lawn is really easy. To cut the plates with a kitchen knife to teeth. Once the finished installation, roll with a roller and sprinkle abundantly. This immediate watering after the installation is primordial for the good resumption of the growth. Then during 15 days, soak the lawn 2 times per day (in automatic watering: 2 times n in spring and in summer).
