The primary forest is in any remarkable point. It concentrates in its bosom a biodiversity and tropical forest ecosystems of reference. The conservation of this terrestrial inheritance is a priority for the public authorities.

The primary forest of the island of the Meeting is the major biological floret of the west of the Indian Ocean.
