The begonia supports an exhibition in full sun. Sowing is done with the heat in February, it is however delicate because of the small size of seeds. Mend then in small pots which you will once install the finished frosts.

Its history

It is at the 17th century that the intendant of Rochefort, Michel organized a forwarding in Americas and the Antilles. In 1869, the Plumier father discovers there a plant which it appointed of the name of his protector.

One finds in Rochefort the academy of the Begonia or are cultivated more than 1300 natural and hybrid species. Since 1845, more than 10061 hybrids were obtained.
