Celery-connects is cultivated for its fleshy and corded stems. In Europe, one rather cultivates celery with the #FFFFFF stems whereas in North America, it is rather celery with the #CF5B74 stems.

For the seed harvest which is very aromatic, celery must spend the ground winter, because it will flower only the year following its sowing. Celery is a bi-annual plant.

Under , sow the celery from January to February. Mend then places from there in April or May for a harvest in summer.

In the open air, sow the celery from March to June in a rich ground, then mend the seedlings places from there as soon as they make good ten centimetres height.
