edible tubersThe ground almond is the tuber of a species of papyrus. It is an old vegetable, primarily cultivated nowadays in Spain. It can be consumed believed or roasted with aperitif or out of salad.
Plant your tubers which you will have taken care to let soak 48 H in lukewarm water to soften their barks, from April at May. Plant to them in seed holes from 2 to 4 tubers by separating them from 40 cm from/to each other on lines apart 60 cm. Sprinkle very regularly especially in period of dryness.
Harvest is done at the end of October with the beginning of November by tearing off the tufts and by recovering the tubers which you will preserve at the expenses.
